THIRD SPACE TRAINER

A luxury gym with various locations throughout London, UK. They offer clubs, classes, and personal training. Gyms are minimalist and feature a variety of different types of Trainers for strength building, rehabilitation, managing weight, and sports. They offer success stories, and world-class support (selection, educated PT, career-based). Lastly, they have excellent personal training and elite personal training.

THE PROBLEM

Personal trainers are losing clients, therefore their revenue is going down. On the other hand, clients who may have an interest in finding a personal trainer cancel their sessions because they do not feel connected to their trainers.

 

HYPOTHESIS

A tool that allows people to gain a closer professional connection to their clients with tracking sales can help a personal trainer overall become more successful. Clients will have an easier time booking appointment and feel motivated with their fitness journey

 

THE GOAL

Third Space Personal Trainer App will let users such as Trainers Trainers connect closer to clients which will increase sales, by giving them the ability to build rapport quickly through communication via message schedule appointments, and understand clients through tests. We will measure effectiveness by client retention per Trainer.

 

THE RESEARCH

 

USER INTERVIEWS X 6 PEOPLE

I wanted to understand what is missing from experiences of personal training sessions that make clients not come back. How may we best give the Third Space Trainers a way to monitor sales and CRM. In addition, I wanted to gather information on how to market the application and match the right users to the right Personal Trainer based on their preferences on what they look for the most.

 

Some questions that were asked:

  • Minus the cost, who is the perfect trainer to you?

  • What is the ideal relationship you want to have with your trainer?

  • What is the process like to get a Trainer for you if you were to get one?

  • How would a mobile application help you with

Based on the competitive audit comparison, I discovered that it was vitally important that the users had an exciting login page and guidance on how to navigate through the application after logging in.
